These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using Sborka (the browser extension and this website; the "Service"). The party that provides the Service is referred to below as the "Operator". By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Description of the Service)
The Service provides a tool that detects videos being played in the user's browser (such as HLS-format videos) and media files, and, at the user's request, saves them as files from the user's browser. The Service does not provide, distribute, or store video or audio content itself.
Article 2 (Conditions of use)
- Users shall use the Service only for content they own, public-domain material, and content that the rights holder or the host has allowed them to save.
- Users are responsible for complying with copyright law and other laws, and with the terms of use of the host site, regarding the content they save. Users decide whether they may save the content.
- The Service does not support DRM (technological protection measures)-protected content, live streams, or YouTube, and must not be used with them.
Article 3 (Prohibited acts)
Users must not do any of the following.
- Save, copy, distribute, or upload content that infringes copyright or other rights, without the rights holder's permission.
- Use the Service for the purpose of circumventing technological protection measures applied to content.
- Obtain content by a method that the host site's terms of use prohibit.
- Modify the Service and distribute it to others, or improperly share or resell paid-plan licenses.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service, or of other parties' servers or networks.
- Any other act that violates laws or public order and morals.
Article 4 (Paid plan)
[TO BE FILLED IN - to be decided] The features, price, payment methods, term of use, license activation method, number of devices allowed, and refund conditions of the paid plan (Pro) will be stated here. Details follow the pricing page.
Article 5 (Intellectual property and third-party software)
- Intellectual property rights in the Service belong to the Operator or to the rightful holders.
- The Service includes third-party open source software (for example, mux.js (Apache-2.0) and the ffmpeg.wasm core (GPL-2.0 or later)). The terms of each license apply in preference to these Terms. [TO BE FILLED IN] Depending on how the Service is distributed, state the license notices and how the source code is made available, here or on a separate page.
- Rights in content that users save belong to the original rights holders. Using the Service does not transfer any rights.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
- The Service is provided as is. The Operator does not guarantee that the Service will work or be able to save on every site or video, that saved content is accurate or complete, that the Service will be continuously available, or that it is free of defects.
- The Service may stop working without notice because of changes to a host site's specifications, browser updates, and similar causes.
- Disputes with third parties that arise from content a user saved with the Service shall be resolved by the user at the user's own responsibility.
Article 7 (Limitation of liability)
Except where the Operator acts intentionally or with gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for damages incurred by users from using, or being unable to use, the Service. Where the Operator is liable in connection with the paid plan, liability is limited to the amount the user paid for the period in which the cause of the damage arose. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Article 8 (Changes to or termination of the Service)
The Operator may change the Service or end its provision without prior notice.
Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)
The Operator may change these Terms as needed. The revised Terms take effect from the time they are posted on this page.
Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. However, these Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights provided by the laws of the user's place of residence.
